The Anglo Zulu War in support of Help for Heroes

16th June 2011, Durham Cathedral.

The ‘Zulu War Talks’ provide the chance to listen to the fascinating tales of courage, honour and mutual respect of the battles at Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift as told by Rob Caskie. Rob is the senior guide and principal lecturer at the Fugitives Drift Heritage Lodge in the heart of the Zulu War Fields, and his lectures are renowned for their balance, passion and enthusiasm. Being held across 8 venues in summer 2011 this is a rare opportunity. Prince Harry is the patron of the event with Joanna Lumley and General Lord Guthrie as official supporters. With costs being covered by local sponsors, all ticket sale donations will go to the Help for Heroes charity to support our wounded servicemen and women.

"I am delighted that the heroism of the British soldiers and the Zulu warriors in the battles of January 1879 is to be recognised by the inspiring stories of Rob Caskie in June and July 2011 and that all of the money collected will go to Help for Heroes." – Prince Harry

Light refreshments will follow afterwards in the Chapter House.  Tickets available from www.h4hzuluwartalks.co.uk  £30
