The Unveiling of the Thomas Kenny VC Commemorative Stone will take place on Wednesday 4th November 2015 at Wheatley Hill Cemetery, DH6 3JY
This is one of the paving stones presented to local communities by the Departments for Communities and Local Government to commemorate recipients of the Victoria Cross during the First World War. It is the first of seven stones to be unveiled in County Durham between 2015 and 2018.
