Today, the DLI Association was presented with the Chairman's medal.
The Chairman's Medal is awarded to individuals or groups in recognition of services to County Durham.It is the highest honour that can awarded and is given to individuals or groups who have contributed significantly to communities in County Durham.
The citation reads “In recognition of the strong and continuing bond between the County of Durham and its Regiment since 1758”
