13.67 Care for Casualties Concert – Top Club, Washington
John Norton has reported that the Charity Concert Function at The Top Club Washington last Friday was a huge success and £420 was raised for The Rifles Charity “Care for Casualties” This is very much appreciated by “The Rifles” and the money will be spent wisely on those Riflemen who have been “wounded in action” and have suffered horrendous injuries and amputations and the families of those “killed in action” and have not yet come to terms with the loss of their loved ones.
To everyone who attended this function and especially John Norton and Jimmy Quinn for organising it, a huge “Thank You “ on behalf of The Rifles Colonel Commandant General Nick Carter CBE DSO and the Co-ordinator of “Care for Casualties” Rebecca Macjeweska and All Riflemen wherever they are serving.
